As a young boy in Mexico, Roberto Julio Ramirez Gustavo Sanchez (or Bob for short) worked the agave fields with his father. It was there his dream was born – to one day travel to America and open a traditional Mexican restaurant that served only the finest agave Tequilas.

We are unsure if Bob went on to fulfill his dream and open his restaurant. If he had, we think he would have opened a place a lot like Agave in Downtown Lafayette. Agave – a retreat right in the heart of downtown Lafayette, brings together traditional Mexican cuisine, an atmosphere unlike any other, and over 40 of the finest agave Tequilas in the world.

An experience at Agave will change your life – ok, maybe change your life is a bit strong – but, it can at the least change your day or even make your night.
